The Duryodhanas-The Poem of the Week-48

Poem of The Week-I Had No Answer

I Had No Answer

The other day, when I was passing by a building,
my little daughter asked me, “Dad, what is this?”
“This is the police office”, I replied.
“What is it for?”
I said, “It controls crime by enforcing the laws.”
“Why do people commit crime?”
“It is human nature.” I tried to escape the question.
“Do animals commit crime?”
I had no answer.

The other day, when I was passing by another building,
she asked me again, “What is it?”
“This is the parliament building. This is a place where elected people make rules to govern the people.” I said.
“Why do people need to be governed? Why can’t they live free?”
“If there are no rules and laws, there will be anarchy.” I explained.
“Do animals need laws?”
I had no answer.

The other day, when I was passing by yet another building, she asked me again.
“What is this building for, dad?”
I replied, “This is the supreme court. This is the place where people are given punishment for their wrong doings.
“Why can’t people behave properly without the courts? Do animals need courts?”
My daughter continued, “Can I ask you a different question?”
“Sure.” I replied.

With an astonished face she asked, “Dad, aren’t we taught that humans are more civilized than animals, although they do not need police office, parliament and courts?”
I had no answer.
Does anybody know the answer?

Erected Walls-Poem of the week-47

Erected Walls

Erected walls,
made of iron and stone,
cannot block the flow,
that touches the brain and heart with love and truth.

Air, sea, and birds,
defy boarder petrol’s rules.
That you never understood and tried to overturn them.

And you witnessed,
pieces of Berlin wall,
built to block the voices
which came from free hearts
that should be heard!

His Life-Poem of the week-46

Your Turn-Poem of the week-45

Why are you so cruel?-Poem of the week-44

Why are you so cruel?

Time, O cruel Time!
Why are you so heartless?
Why are you so callous?
Have you ever think on that?
With your sharp sword,
you cut my childhood.
You cut my youth so brutally.
You are waiting to kill me,
on the time you decided.
But I still respect you.
I respect you,
for your dutifulness,
for your sincerity.
I know, you are only,
honest and fair.

The Time-Poem of the week-43

The Time

I asked a stranger who he was.
He said “I am close to you, not very far.”

“If you recognize me, I am worth million Dollars
If not just a lost sailor.”

“Try to use me now I am very perishable
I am not that which is reusable.”

"All know me, everywhere I am prime
I direct and control all, my name is Time"

Curse-Poem of week-42

Curse

Time came to me.
Passed gently without making any sound.

When I saw him,
he was gone so far.

I yelled “Hey, come back!
I want to see you! I need you!”

Time laughed loudly and said
"I am cursed,
I never walk back."

I Missed-Poem of week-41

 I Missed

The moment I couldn't use.
Now I know it has no excuse.
I regret, what made me do so.
It was not my fault though.
Culprit was the cruel time
Compelled me to do that big crime

Life The Mystery-Poem of the week-40

The Coat-Poem of the week-39

The Desires-Poem of the week-38

The Desires

I say
“Only some desires are fulfilled,
most are always killed.”

Desires stand before me and ask
“You need to fulfill all that’s your task.”

Some question me- why are you so coward?
That will take you downward.

I ask desires “Be in size,
in my hard times  must be wise.”

Desires say “Good bye then,
how can l live with you having always pain?
Better to choose riches‘ company.
Enjoying having always ceremony.”

Desires remind me “you can kill me any time,
you are used to commit such a crime.”

The Moments-Poem of the week-37

The Moments

Believe me,
I turned the time backwards
at the point your beauty fascinates,
my youth  is there and your charms.

Let’s celebrate the moment,
enjoy the sky down  while we are so up,
walking around on it.
Flowers all over as far we see.
With forever fragrant on it,
 only we feel.

Perceive the moments as
with endless dreams,
beyond the reality
But bundle of joys.

Forget the real time we are in.
Just think we are in the moments,
at that point we passed and shared,
with never ending joy.
Far from transactional life
only with love and trust.

Let’s celebrate the moment.
On the  imaginary playhouse.
Believe me,
we are years and  years back.
The moments we like most.

At The End of The Night-Poem of the week-36

Forced To Think So-Poem of the week-35
